Backyard Resto Cafe! A new additional structure to our family's on going business. It has always been the family's dream to be able to expand the business and be able to put up a simple yet cozy resto cafe that would serve mostly students as the location of our family's property is perfectly located directly beside a University school in the Philippines.
Design Concept:
Influenced by the rustic industrial-esh fad, I decided to come up with my own little resto cafe concept which is practically at a mid range budget i would say. The whole idea is to come up with a minimalist concept that is mixed with the application of rustic themed materials. This 85sq. meter structure features smooth concrete wall finishes,Dark themed floor tiles at the indoor dining and the generous usage of timber for the trellis at the rear side of the building that serves as an outdoor dining lounge that opens its whole view towards an undeveloped wild forest. The trellis has been roofed out with a gray translucent poly-carbonate material for sun shade. And of course the application of large awning and fixed glass windows to entertain great amount of natural light.
And for me? its awesome! (Just appreciate yourself sometimes :D )
My favorite part of the structure are the rustic wall light fixtures that really helped build up the ambiance together with the Hanging warm light bulbs at the interior dining which really stood out creating a cozy and relaxing feel when inside the structure, Therefore making it a great hub for students who just want to unwind and relax during break times.
Cheers!
